What is 50 Jigs?Beginning on week 4 of the 2005 regular season, Clinton Portis of the Washington Redskins made history when he began to dress up in a variety of costumes, including "Dollah Bill" and "Jerome From DC" (as seen in the top right corner of this page) during his weekly Thursday meetings with reporters.50jigs is a collection of 50 short films - some of which have yet to be created - that are dedicated to contuining his antics during the offseason. A 'jig' can be best described in two words: "Costumed chicanery". Note that it does NOT have to be a dance but it MUST involve at least one person in costume, since we are saluting Mr. Portis here. Although we intend to release a minimum of one jig weekly, there may be extenuating cirumcstances that prevent us from doing so...e.g. J-Fleaux's car dying for good on the same weekend he moved from Fairfax to Arlington...Le Baron Moving to Miami...
